Psycho-vocational evaluation involves various steps such as a clinical interview and the use of psychometric measurement to gather specific information on an individual’s educational, cognitive/ IQ, learning, emotional issues and vocational characteristics. Assesses IQ, aptitudes, academic achievement, vocational interests, learning potential, personality characteristic, psychological adjustment, and psychosocial skills. Recommendations will be made regarding the client’s current level of cognitive, learning, and personality/ emotional functioning; identify strengths, and provide recommendations that will be useful in assisting in vocational planning/ training or job placement:
A Vocational Assessment determines an individual's skills, knowledge, and aptitude in a variety of areas, with the purpose of identifying and determining their level of functioning in their job, and future decision-making around employment. Neurocognitive/Neuropsychological evaluation is used to gather specific information on an individual’s cognitive, motor, behavioral, linguistic, and executive functioning. Addresses all aspects of the neuro-psychological and psycho-vocational testing sensitive to the effects of a brain injury or other significant cognitive impairments.
This information can lead to the diagnosis of cognitive deficits or to the confirmation of a diagnosis of brain injury. This assessment generally assesses functional academic abilities, fine motor skills, visual constructional ability, verbal fluency, verbal and nonverbal intelligence, attention, memory, executive ability and emotional functioning. In addition, this assessment evaluates the vocational aspects and recommendations will be made regarding the client’s current level of functioning, strengths, and provide suggestions that may be useful in assisting in educational/ vocational training or employment:
Transferable Skills Analysis is the process by which similar, related, or new jobs are identified for a consumer who have lost their job or following injury or disability. These jobs are both consistent and compatible with previous work experience and fall within the range of residual post-employment or post-injury functioning of the client.
Our transferable skills analysis will examine the consumer’s educational and employment history and provide information on the individual’s ability to return to specified jobs, following job loss or injury /or advent of disabling condition, based on matching capabilities and abilities.
